so whether you are undertaking new developments or maintaining an existing system we can help you meet your resourcing needs.

Our major programming skills are in Caché (MUMPS) and Basic, and we also have extensive experience of the SSADM design methodology used within the NHS and other large organisations.

Reality has undertaken programming contracts for the following clients, although the programming experience of our staff prior to joining Reality is far wider than this:

Lloyds insurance market: developments to an underwriting system to handle transactions in Euros, modifications to screens in the underwriting and claims systems (using &PACE, Basic and UniVerse, a Pick-like environment)

• FHS: Modifications to GP Quarterly payments on the "Exeter System" used by all Health Authorities (using MUMPS)
• MAFF (now DEFRA): system testing and documentation (using &PACE, Basic and UniVerse)
• EDS: Modifications to SWiftLab, a pathology system (using MUMPS)
• NHSIA: Design and development of a system to automate Requirements For Accreditation (RFA) testing of GP systems with respect to Pathology EDI (using MUMPS).
